Scratch News and Events

Lero has delivered a number of Scratch Teacher Training sessions this summer. 40 teachers, from primary and second-level sector in Ireland have participated in the training sessions.

The Scratch Teacher Training course for primary teachers titled “The use of Scratch as a tool to develop pupils’ numeracy / mathematical skills” was approved by Drumcondra Education Centre and allows participating teachers to qualify for 3 EPV days.  12 teachers attended this 5 half-day training session July 4-8. Feedback on the course was very positive and we plan to make this an annual training event.
