Post-Primary Resources
These materials are designed for post-primary teachers and students. The materials consist of a teacher guide and student workbook each containing 10 modules. The teacher materials were developed as a 45-hour Transition Unit for Transition Year students in accordance with NCCA guidelines but may be used with students of all ages. Teachers may pick and choose what to teach from the 10 modules to suit their needs. An accompanying workbook with challenges and exercises is available for students.
Using Scratch enables students to learn computer programming and programming skills. Creating and sharing Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.
